    I definitely think that the periwinkle is a statement. It is hard to be shocking these days and I think the periwinkle does a good job at making a statement. There is more of the color in other areas but I had to be sneaky to take the pictures. The hotel rooms are periwinkle as well. I think it is a bit over done because there is something off putting about such an overload of the color. In the pictures I posted I think it works well because of the contrast with the beige and gold.
