Weekly Photo


I saw these buildings and took pictures of them with my phone. I wanted to see how similar the shades were so I took pictures in both color and in greyscale.

    What did you realize here? I think the color image was a value study more than a HUE or CHROMA difference. Take some photos in Color and B/W but choose images with more color range. Yellow is a light value, violet is dark so it's hard when they meet in the same image but have white in them or meet a neutral (brown, tan, etc..)
    I can give you a bunch of colored papers to do a test on yourself with. Remind me!
